A lifelong bachelorette by choice, Diana was, along with Vesta and Minerva, a maiden goddess known not only for her prowess with a bow and arrow, but also for her gifted relationship to women and animals. Along with her twin brother Apollo, god of sun and light, Diana grew up on the island of Delos where she became a skilled hunter, particularly adept with a bow and arrow. Diana was a goddess whose cult following proved that her abilities both gentle and strong made her a goddess worth worshipping since beore the founding of Rome. We honor her and join the cult of Diana with our hard enamel pin.
